Ms. Angira Dhar

Angira Dhar is a postgraduate student and independent researcher whose work focuses on caste dynamics, social inequalities, and political behaviour in India, particularly in West Bengal.

Her research examines the intersections of caste, politics, and religion, and how these forces shape the socio-economic experiences of minority communities. She seeks to contribute to both academia and policy-making through a multidisciplinary approach that draws from political science, sociology, and psychology.

Beyond academia, Angira is passionate about art, literature, and poetry, and finds creative inspiration in classic literary works, ghazals, and music.
