Mr. Leo Vicentino

Mr. Leo Vicentino Leo Vicentino is a faculty member in the Humanities and Social Science Department, recognized for his leadership as an academic administrator and a director for internationalization and quality assurance, within De La Salle University Integrated School. His diverse research interests span postmodern inquiries, community revitalization, and local histories. Notably, his Master’s thesis introduced “pagtubog,” a pro-Filipino local paradigm for Indigenous research. Vicentino’s preliminary works, presented globally, cover sociolinguistics, historical linguistics, and applied linguistics. He has directed and acted in major productions as a seasoned theater arts practitioner. He has actively contributed to nation-building for over a decade through legacy projects like Suhayan and the DLSU SHS Research Congress. He serves as an Associate Editor for SINAYA, a premier national journal, and advises students with international research publications. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Sociology, Leo aims to become a teacher for the underserved.
