Mr. Bali Dhan Rai

Bali Dhan Rai (Bayung) is a Doctoral Candidate at Royal Roads University in Victoria (BC), Canada. He has received the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Doctoral Fellowship for his research. In his doctoral project, he explores the interrelationships between the Ancestors, Nature, and the Cosmos or Spirit, and examines the settler colonial oppressions affecting the collective Identity, cohesion, and solidarity of Nepalese Indigenous peoples.
